izette Williams was born and raised in the South Bronx, Lizette Williams Rashad built her career professionally as Lizette Williams — and over 25 years, she became one of the most recognized marketing executives in America.

She currently serves as Global Head of Business Content Marketing at Meta, with previous leadership roles at IBM, PepsiCo, McDonald’s, and Kimberly-Clark. She holds a BA in Economics and Political Science through a joint program at Columbia University and the London School of Economics, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

In 2020, Lizette launched Lizette Speaks LLC, her independent speaking and thought leadership practice. She is a sought-after keynote speaker at SXSW, Advertising Week, Essence Festival, and Association of National Advertisers conferences, with corporate clients including United Airlines, Johns Hopkins University, Northwestern University, Kraft Heinz, LinkedIn, and Ogilvy & Mather. She has appeared on CNN Business, PBS, NPR, ESPN, and Univision, and has been featured in Forbes, the Financial Times, Advertising Age, Crain’s Chicago Business, Black Enterprise, Campaign US, and Adweek.

Among the most decorated executives in her field, Lizette is a recipient of the American Advertising Federation Hall of Achievement — the premier national recognition for marketing leaders under 40 — and was named Chicago Advertising Woman of the Year by the Chicago Advertising Federation. She has also been recognized as a Crain’s Chicago Business 40 Under 40 honoree, Adweek Innovator, Black Enterprise Top Women in Advertising, Chicago Business Journal Woman of Influence, She Runs It Working Mother of the Year, and Campaign US Leading Latinos 2023.

Lizette serves on the Board of Directors of Isagenix and the Board of the Black Ensemble Theatre in Chicago, and is a Board Emeritus member of the Chicago Advertising Federation.

Her debut memoir, From the Bronx to the Boardroom: How I Learned to Lead Without Losing Myself, publishes July 20, 2027 with She Writes Press, distributed by Simon & Schuster.

Lizette is a proud Afro-Latina, a mother of two, and is based in Chicago, Illinois.
